Sprinkler & Alarm Inspections Ltd (SAIL) is an Accredited Inspection Body providing inspection and certification services primarily to the Fire Protection community and the buildings they protect.

SAIL is independently owned and operated and is not aligned to any fire protection company or the insurance industry ensuring our reporting is totally independent. We are Christchurch based and operate throughout the South Island and lower North Island regions

SAIL is accredited by International Accreditation New Zealand (IANZ) to ISO 17020, ensuring the quality and competency of our business and staff meet and exceed IANZ requirements.

With the formation of the company in 2017, we acquired the fire protection system records of Fire Protection Inspection Services Ltd and Verifire Ltd, who in turn had acquired the fire protection system records from the Insurance Council of NZ. This gives SAIL a database of fire protection systems in buildings in the South Island second to none, with some of these records dating back to the post war period.
